Classic Photo Booths provide photo booth hire services in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch (Canterbury) regions and are the largest photo booth operator in New Zealand. With multiple photo booths available we can also cater for last minute bookings. Classic Photo Booth Hire

Our most popular photo booth, the Classic Photo Booth is tall and black and comes fully enclosed with black privacy curtains.

Or leave the rails off and select from our range of backdrops.

The booth can hold 2-6 people comfortably – more can fit by squeezing in or we can open or remove the curtains to fit more in the shot.

Mini Photo Booth Hire

From $600

The compact design and small footprint of our Mini Photo Booth lets it go places larger booths can’t. It’s an open-air fully featured photo booth, especially suited for use at events with limited space. It’s the smallest of size but still delivers the best quality images with a stylish backdrop.

Vintage Photo Booth Hire

From $650

Our Vintage Photo Booth set-up includes a stylish wooden camera box, wooden tripod, posh red velvet ropes, and black backdrop. We top off our Vintage booth with a fantastic selection of vintage props. This extravagant set-up will add a touch of class to any do.

Digital Selfie Station

from $475 for a full day hire

Want to capture candid photos, but don’t want the full she-bang of a Classic?  How about a digital selfie station?  Simple to setup, we can deliver and you can setup yourself, or we set it up for you.  This booth doesn’t print, but you will get an online gallery of all the photos, and you and your guests can also share to social while at the event.  We will still customise a photo surround just for you – great for brand activations.  Select one of our backdrops or use with yours.

Add an upload station for added convenience for your guests to share their photos.

A bond of $500 is required – to be refunded on the return of the non-damaged unit.


Kids Party Photo Booth Hire

$311 – 1 hour of unlimited photo booth prints

Classic Photo Booths have created a special 1 hour kids party hire package that will hit the right spot for your budget and keep the little tikes entertained with a lasting photographic memory. We’ll drop in with our fantastic collection of cool kids themes that your children will adore! Let them choose from our selection of funky props and they’ll go mad taking their own crazy photos.

In addition the standard inclusions you have the choice of sit-down or stand-up booth configuration, plus a box of funky kids props!

NB: Kids Party Photo Booth hire packages are available in our Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch regions. 0-12 years qualify for kids party photo booth hire packages, the party must end before 5pm and are not available on public holidays.

Vintage meets modern with our VW Kombi photo booth experience. We supply the props, you squeeze inside the back and we pop out instant prints. Our Kombi Booths are equipped with a high quality DSLR camera, touch screen, LED lighting and super-fast printer.

Live Instagram Hashtag Printer

From $499

The Hashtag Printer brings your online Instagram or Twitter pics to life. You take a snap with your phone, upload it as normal, add in your Hashtag, and our programme picks up your photo and is ready for you to print out and create lasting memories of your event. Guests can roam around the venue take pics and still print these out. Think of it as a photo booth in the palm of your hands.

2 Hours $499
$100 for every additional hour.

The Instagram Printer can also added on to a normal photo booth hire package (see add on’s below).
